Aindre Completes Half MarathonAindre Reece-Sheerin Completes the Healtspan Half Marathon and raises money for the Society |

Aindre Reece Sheerin, who lost the use of his legs in a motorcycle accident some years ago, took part in the Health span half marathon to raise funds for the Society.
Aindre was the only wheelchair user to enter and he finished in a rematkable time of one hour 55 minutes.
Aindre used a normal chair for the event but found the camber of the road kept steering him into the kerb. The constant correction and furious pace he set resulted in some nasty looking severe bruising to his forearms and very blistered fingers. Aindre said it was all worth it!
A magnificent effort and an inspiration.
